Saturday, July 1 | 7:30 PM…Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series

NASCAR goes back under the lights this weekend with an Xfinity-Monster Energy Series doubleheader at Daytona International Speedway to top the motor sports calendar that includes the K&N Pro Series East and sprint cars in the Midwest.

On Friday, Motor Racing Network – “The Voice of NASCAR” will air live coverage of Monster Energy Series qualifying at 4 p.m. (ET) to set the field for Saturday night’s Coke Zero 400 Powered by Coca-Cola. Greg Biffle won the pole last year and finished eighth in the race.

Exclusive radio coverage of Friday’s Coca-Cola Firecracker 250 Xfinity Series race will follow at 7 p.m. The MRN broadcast from “The World Center of Racing” will be anchored by Kurt Becker and Kyle Rickey.

Then on Saturday night, MRN’s coverage of the Coke Zero 400 will kick off at 6:30 p.m. Brad Keselowski is the defending race winner while Kurt Busch was victorious in this year’s first visit to Daytona in February for the season-opening Daytona 500. MRN’s broadcast will be anchored by Joe Moore and Jeff Striegle with analysis from Hall of Fame driver Rusty Wallace.
